NXT TakeOver: WarGames II Betting Odds

NXT TakeOver: WarGames II Betting Odds

As we know by now, NXT‘s TakeOver shows are generally the time that WWE‘s developmental territory puts on an absolute masterclass of a pay-per-view that tends to overshadow its main roster counterpart the next night. And, not that Survivor Series looks horrendously bad, but tonight’s TakeOver: WarGames II looks very exciting indeed.

Just to tickle our taste-buds that little bit more, let’s take a look at SkyBet‘s latest odds for each of the four matches.

These are UK style odds, so they work in a fraction format: A/B. For every value of B that you bet, you win A + the stake return.

Before you read on, while betting odds aren’t absolute spoilers, they do usually point in the right direction, so that’s just something to be aware of. Also, they may well fluctuate depending on when you read this, but all odds are correct at time of publishing.

Shayna Baszler (c) vs. Kairi Sane – NXT Women’s Championship – 2-out-of-3 Falls Match

Baszler regained the NXT Women’s Title at WWE Evolution last month thanks to interference from Jessamyn Duke and Marina Shafir, making Sane’s prior reign the shortest in the title’s history.

Baszler is the current favorite to reach two falls in this one, retain the championship, and once again assert dominance at the top of NXT‘s women’s division.

  • Shayna Baszler – 1/3
  • Kairi Sane – 9/4

Aleister Black vs. Johnny Gargano

Johnny Gargano sent shockwaves through NXT when it was revealed that he attacked Aleister Black and cost him an NXT Championship match at TakeOver: Brooklyn 4 in August, and Black now has a chance to gain retribution tonight.

The only Dutch NXT Champion in history is the favorite for this one, and has only ever lost once one-on-one in NXT (televised), when Gargano inadvertently cost him his NXT Title against current champ Tommaso Ciampa.

  • Aleister Black – 8/15
  • Johnny Gargano – 11/8

Tommaso Ciampa (c) vs. Velveteen Dream – NXT Championship

Undoubtedly two of the best performers in NXT clash for the ultimate prize on the black and yellow brand, as Velveteen Dream challenges Tommaso Ciampa for the NXT Championship.

It’s the 22-year-old’s first ever NXT Title match, and he heads into it as the underdog, but will it be “Dream Over” for Ciampa’s title reign come the end of tonight?

  • Tommaso Ciampa – 1/4
  • Velveteen Dream – 11/4

Ricochet, Pete Dunne & The War Raiders vs. The Undisputed ERA – WarGames Match

The WCW tradition is back once more, but this time under the more conventional rules, as NXT Tag Team Champions the Undisputed ERA take on the dream team of NXT North American Champion Ricochet, WWE UK Champion Pete Dunne, and Hanson & Rowe of the War Raiders in WarGames.

O’Reilly’s win over Rowe on NXT TV this past week gives his side the entrant advantage, but will they be able to make it pay off? The odds are in their favor…

  • Undisputed ERA – 1/2
  • Ricochet, Pete Dunne & The War Raiders – 6/4

Please remember to gamble responsibly and follow the indicated terms and conditions when betting.
