WWE President Nick Khan told Ariel Helwani at BT Sport that the rumoured changes coming to the NXT brand were indeed true, as we have seen recently with the announcement of the show’s new logo.
However, Fightful Select (subscription required) is reporting that many of the NXT talents have been kept in the dark about the show’s new formatting.
Several NXT talent told Fightful that they knew there was smoke to the fire, but even some of the top talent on the brand is being kept in the dark about the specifics of the rebranding.
WWE is remaining very tight-lipped about the details of NXT’s future, look and branding moving forward.
One NXT talent noted that they could tell some changes were coming to the Capital Wrestling Center venue, as it was being taken apart, with them specifically mentioning the ring area as something being adjusted.
