NXT Television Taping SPOILERS!

From the September 12 episode:

NXT kept the spotlight on their main championship with the unveiling of Tommaso Ciampa complete with new entrance music. That’s right. No more silence. Taking to the mic, the NXT Champion refuted claims he’d attacked Aleister Black. After more banter, he approached a child at ringside with a ‘Ciampa Sucks’ sign, ripped it up, and threw it back at the youngster.

In results from the rest of the episode:

  • Oney Lorcan and Danny Burch rolled over Eh Nois
  • Shayna Baszler submitted Violet Payne
  • Lars Sullivan demolished Raul Mendoza
  • Nikki Cross and Bianca Belair fought to a double countout. The pair continued to brawl after the match. Nikki’s main roster call-up is on its way. There’s nothing left for her in NXT with the championship picture heading in a different direction

From the September 19 episode:

This episode hosted the much anticipated NXT North American Championship Match which saw Ricochet defend against Pete Dunne in a Champion vs. Champion Match. The match, needless to say, stole the show with only the finale letting it down. Thanks to a run-in by Undisputed Era, it ended in a no contest.

What came out of this decision was the onset of several feuds which will culminate and continue at NXT TakeOver: WarGames in November. War Raiders and Danny Burch & Oney Lorcan chased away Roderick Strong and Kyle O’Reilly leaving Adam Cole to the mercy of a stampeding Keith Lee who also came to help.

Whilst it’s unknown which pairings we’re likely to see inside the cage, expect it to be either Pete Dunne or Keith Lee teaming with Danny Burch, and Oney Lorcan vs. Ricochet and War Raiders vs. Adam Cole, Kyle O’Reilly, and Roderick Strong. The structure of the two face teams could change.

In results from the rest of the episode:

  • Lacey Evans and Aliyah got the better of Dakota Kai and Deonna Purrazzo
  • Jaxon Ryker crashed through Humberto Carrillo
