NXT TV Spoilers For July 27 & August 3

Huge spoilers have emerged for the next couple of episodes of WWE NXT, following yesterday’s (July 21) tapings.

The July 27 and August 3 shows won’t air live due to scheduling changes ahead of the summer Olympic Games. Following the July 21 tapings, spoilers have emerged for the two shows.

Here are full spoilers for the July 27 show:

– Pete Dunne and Oney Lorcan defeated Timothy Thatcher and Tommaso Ciampa. Ridge Holland returned from injury after the match to help Dunne and Lorcan attack Thatcher and Ciampa.

– Samoa Joe offered his resignation as an NXT authority figure to NXT General Manager William Regal so he could fight NXT Champion Karrion Kross at NXT Takeover 36. Regal wanted to fire Kross for last week’s attack, but agreed to Joe’s deal and signed the paperwork to make it official, setting up Joe vs Kross for the NXT Championship at NXT Takeover 36.

– NXT Breakout Tournament, First Round: Carmelo Hayes defeated Josh Briggs.

– NXT Women’s Champion Raquel Gonzalez and Dakota Kai came cut a promo. They talked about how dominant the champ has been as of late and as long as Kai has her back, there’s no one that can take her gold. Kai turned on Gonzalez, laying her out with a kick.

– Kayden Carter and Kacy Catanzaro defeated Jessi Kamea and Franky Monet.

– Imperium’s Marcel Barthel and Fabian Aichner defeated Hit Row’s “Top Dolla” AJ Francis and Ashante “Thee” Adonis when Legado del Fantasma distracted Hit Row.

– Adam Cole defeated Bronson Reed. Following the match, Kyle O’Reilly attacked Cole with a steel chair.

Here are spoilers for the August 3 show:

– Ridge Holland defeated Ikemen Jiro. Dunne cut a promo on Timothy Thatcher and Tommaso Ciampa following the bout.

– Backstage segment featuring Indi Hartwell receiving a drawing from Dexter Lumis. Johnny Gargano and Candice LeRae were not happy, setting up Gargano vs. Lumis with the stipulation that Lumis must stop chasing Hartwell if Gargano wins.

– Roderick Strong defeated Bobby Fish.

–  The Grizzled Young Veterans defeated Cameron Grimes and LA Knight after Knight walked out on Grimes. Post-match, WWE Hall of Famer Ted DiBiase Sr. returned to console Grimes.

– NXT Breakout Tournament First Round Match: Trey Baxter defeated Joe Gacy.

– Hit Row’s Ashante “Thee” Adonis and “Top Dolla” AJ Francis defeated Raul Mendoza and Joaquin Wilde of Legado del Fantasma via disqualification when Santos Escobar interfered with a steel chair. Legado del Fantasma attacked Isaiah “Swerve” Scott with a chair after the match.

– NXT Champion Karrion Kross came to the ring for a promo on Samoa Joe. Joe came out to confront him and ended up beating several security guards up.

– Johnny Gargano defeated Dexter Lumis. Following the match, Hartwell kissed Lumis, before the duo left together.

It has since been reported that a Karrion Kross segment was re-shot during the tapings for a hilarious reason.
