NXT UK Gets New Commentary Team & Ring Announcer

There has been a shakeup in the broadcast team for NXT UK as of last night’s TV taping, with a new duo on commentary and new ring announcer.

Previously, the show was called by Tom Phillips and either Aiden English or Nigel McGuinness.

With Phillips now the lead announcer on Raw, he has been replaced by the previous NXT UK ring announcer Andy Shepard, who also co-hosted NXT UK TakeOver: Blackpool II.

Shepard was joined by McGuinness for this taping, as English was busy Friday night calling 205 Live with Jon Quasto.

Replacing Shepard on ring announcing duties was Francesca Brown, an actress and TV host from London.
