NXT UK Star Confirmed For WarGames Match

Last night on NXT a new member of Shayna Baszler’s WarGames team was confirmed.

That woman was NXT UK Women’s Champion Kay Lee Ray, who appeared on last night’s show, shoving Mia Yim off a ladder and through a table at the climax of her match against Io Shirai.

Ray joins up with team captain Shayna Baszler, Bianca Belair and Io Shirai to go up against Rhea Ripley, Tegan Nox, Candice LeRae and Mia Yim for the first ever women’s WarGames match.

KLR debuted for NXT UK in February having previously wrestled for the the promotion as a one-off in 2015 and again in the 2017 Mae Young Classic.

Ray’s wrestling at WarGames will be her first appearance on a full NXT TakeOver show.
