Earlier today, An NXT UK star celebrated on social media after reaching an impressive championship milestone.
Kay Lee Ray has now hit 600 days as NXT UK Women’s Champion. She has held the title for almost 2 years after defeating Toni Storm at NXT TakeOver: Cardiff in August 2019.
The champion took to Twitter to celebrate her achievement:

Kay Lee Ray has defeated the likes of Piper Niven and Jinny and to defend the title. Her latest defence saw her pin legendary wrestler Meiko Satomura early last month.
Despite the lengthy tenure, Kay Lee Ray isn’t the longest reigning champion on the brand. WALTER has been holding the NXT UK Championship for almost 750 days, recently defeating Rampage Brown and Tommaso Ciampa in separate title matches.
Tay Conti was an unsuccessful challenger to Kay Lee Ray’s championship in 2019. After challenging for the AEW Women’s Championship on Dynamite last night, Conti received praise from a popular WWE star.
