NXT UK Women’s Champion Meiko Satomura has officially joined an elusive club in WWE today (June 10).
Today marks one year since Satomura captured the NXT UK Women’s Championship, scoring the victory over Kay Lee Ray (Alba Fyre) in the main event of NXT UK.
Satomura has actually held the championship for over a year, as the episode was taped prior to June 10, but WWE officially recognises the reign as beginning on June 10.
Satomura most recently defended her title on last night’s episode of the show, when she defeated NXT 2.0 star and Diamond Mine member Ivy Nile.
While the NXT UK championship is not one of them, there have still been many championship changes in WWE in 2022 so far. For a full list, click here.
