NXT Viewership Drops Ahead Of NXT TakeOver 36

The viewership figures for the August 17 episode of NXT on the USA Network, ahead of NXT TakeOver 36, have been revealed.

As per Wrestlenomics, this week’s episode of NXT drew an average of 654,000 viewers. This is down from the 751,000 viewers who tuned into the August 1o show.

In the 18-49 demographic, the episode scored a  0.15 rating, which roughly equates to 200,000 viewers in the demo. Last Tuesday’s edition received a 0.19 rating.

The August 17 show was the final episode before NXT TakeOver 36 on Sunday. Ahead of their NXT Championship match, Karrion Kross and Samoa Joe brawled around the ringside area.

Also on the show, Indi Hartwell proposed to Dexter Lumis after their tag team match against Jessi Kamea and Robert Stone.

After Ilja Dragunov suffered a nasty injury on last night’s episode, WWE provided an update on the Russian star, ahead of his scheduled NXT UK Title match with WALTER this weekend.
