NXT Women’s Champion Mandy Rose, NXT UK Champion Meiko Satomura and former NXT UK star Blair Davenport faced off at Worlds Collide, with both titles on the line.
Mandy Rose was ultimately victorious, pinning Blair Davenport to win the title unification bout.
Heading into the match, Mandy Rose had held the NXT Women’s Title for 313 days. September 4 was Satomura’s 451st day with the NXT UK gold.
Mandy Rose won the NXT Women’s Championship at Halloween Havoc 2021 from Raquel Rodriguez (fka Raquel Gonzalez). Satomura had defeated Alba Fyre (Kay Lee Ray) on the June 10, 2021 edition of NXT UK, ending Fyre’s historic 649 day reign.
This was the second title unification bout of the night, with Pretty Deadly becoming undisputed NXT Tag Team Champions in their elimination fourway bout, following interference from Damon Kemp.
Bron Breakker later defeated Tyler Bate in a bout to unify the NXT and NXT UK Championship. Tyler Bate placed both championship belts on Breakker’s shoulders following their bout as a sign of respect.
The next NXT special will reportedly be Halloween Havoc 2022, and Mandy Rose could very well walk into that event with her gold.
