Tiffany Stratton has commented on whether or not she agreed with WWE’s handling of the vacant NXT Women’s Championship ahead of NXT Battleground.
When asked by Comic Book’s Matt Aguilar if she agreed with the way WWE handled the transition of champion from Indi Hartwell (who was called up to the main roster whilst still Champion).
Stratton said of the NXT Women’s Championship tournament:
“They want to give all the girls their chances and I understand that but I mean, it’s just more opportunities to show that I’m ready. And I think it gives other girls the opportunity to you know, show that they have the potential but they’ll never compare to me.
“But yeah, I’m slowly making my way through and hopefully I’ll be at Battleground.”

Stratton still has a mighty competitor left to face on her way to the NXT Women’s Championship match at NXT Battleground.
Tiffany Stratton is set to face off against Roxanne Perez in order to advance in the tournament to crown a new NXT Women’s Champion.
Stratton mentioned that while she and Perez have faced off before, it has been quite some time.
Reflecting on their last matchup during the NXT Breakouts tournament, Stratton referenced that while that match occurred only several months into her professional wrestling career, now she is much more prepared for the Prodigy.
The semi-finals of the NXT Women’s Championship tournament to determine who will go on to NXT’s upcoming premium live event, NXT Battleground, goes down tonight (May 23) on WWE NXT.
