NXT Stars Backstage At WWE Raw April 10

Two current NXT stars will reportedly be backstage tonight at the Climate Pledge Arena in Seattle, Washington the site of WWE Raw.

According to WRKD Wrestling on Twitter, the stars in question are former NXT UK Champion Tyler Bate and Zoey Stark.

Bate and Stark are most likely in town for the Main Event taping that will take place before Raw goes on the air.

It’s become a weekly tradition for NXT stars to appear on Main Event to work matches with main roster talent, and it’s not necessarily an indication of any planned call-ups – it’s just a way for management to get a little look at them on a bigger stage.

However, having said that, while there hasn’t been much noise regarding a call-up for Bate lately, Stark’s name has been in the conversation in the recent past, and she was even one of only three NXT talents to appear in the Royal Rumble this past January.

With WWE hosting a draft in a few weeks, one in which Triple H stated would affect “every” WWE star, expect then to be a likely destination for any NXT call-ups to take place.

Other names recently touted for a main roster call-up have been former NXT Champion Bron Breakker and Cameron Grimes.

Other highlights for tonight include:

– Sami Zayn vs. Solo

– Bobby Lashley trying to get his hands on Theory

– Additionally, NXT’s Tyler Bate and Zoey Stark will be backstage, however, this is not seen as a main roster call up and they will likely not be featured on #WWERaw pic.twitter.com/mWNpfnOsly
