Current NXT Champion Tommaso Ciampa has been removed from yet another scheduled independent show appearance. After his main roster call-up, Ciampa was said to be dealing with a neck injury which will likely rule him out of NXT Takeover: New York and force him to vacate his title.
Ciampa was set to appear at a Chaotic Wrestling event on March 15th. The promotion’s owner Brian Fury took to Twitter to announce that Hanson, who is one half of the current NXT Tag Team Champions War Raiders, would be replacing Ciampa at the event named ‘Cold Fury 18’.

Ciampa was also announced for an appearance at Harley Race’s World League Wrestling six days prior, but he has also been pulled from that event, this time being replaced by former NXT North American Champion Adam Cole.
It is unfortunate that @ProjectCiampa won't be able to make it, as we were sincerely looking forward to seeing him here on WLW turf once again. However, having @AdamColePro appear in place of Ciampa is one that we are sure fans will love!

Whilst Hanson is an impressive athlete, Chaotic Wrestling fans will be most likely very disappointed that Tommaso Ciampa, who has been involved in possibly one of the single greatest feuds in recent WWE history, will not be appearing at the event.
