Oba Femi Addresses Drew McIntyre’s Interference At WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event WWE

Oba Femi has addressed Drew McIntyre interfering in his match against Cody Rhodes at WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event.

When it was announced that the WWE Champion would face off against the NXT Champion on December 13, there was a lot of speculation about which star would ultimately be crowned the victor.

Turns out, the answer is neither. Femi vs Rhodes ended in a no-contest following Drew McIntyre attacking Cody Rhodes.

Oba Femi didn’t allow McIntyre to leave unscathed, first shoving him to the mat, before helping Cody Rhodes to take him out.

Speaking during the Saturday Night’s Main Event Recap show, Oba Femi shared his thoughts on Drew McIntyre causing the match to end without a winner, stating:

“There’s nothing personal between me and Drew right now, but he definitely robbed the fans. He robbed me of my moment too, and me shoving him was me sending a message.

“I’ve said the future is here, and that message is not just applicable to Cody Rhodes, it’s for every single 40 year-old veteran on this roster. The future is here, the future is now, and the now is me.”
