Following the August 5 episode, a new report has revealed the backstage reaction to Odyssey Jones’ WWE Raw debut.
On the August 5 edition of Monday Night Raw, The New Day defeated Authors of Pain thanks to an assist from the debuting Odyssey Jones.
This marked the first appearance of Jones on Monday Night Raw since being called up to the main roster in the 2023 WWE Draft.
The debut saw Jones lay out Akam, Rezar and Karrion Kross in a show of his strength.
Per PWInsider Elite (via Rajah), there was a lot of happiness internally about the huge social media numbers for the Odyssey Jones debut on Monday Night Raw.
Commentary called Jones the newest member of The New Day, but there was some uncertainty shown by Xavier Woods in a backstage segment following the debut, suggesting he might not be happy about the addition.
As previously mentioned, Jones has commented on making his Monday Night Raw debut on social media.
WrestleTalk will provide any further updates on Odyssey Jones’ WWE Raw debut when they become available.
