The NWA Crockett Cup is back for the second year in a row. It will also feature an NWA Worlds Championship match between the same two competitors.
Marty Scurll and Champion Nick Aldis will be squaring off. There are some high stakes on the line in this one.
The 2020 Crockett Cup will be held on Sunday, April 19 at the Gateway Arena in Atlanta, GA. The Gateway Arena has a capacity of 5,000. This is much larger than the 400 that can be accommodated in their usual Powerrr taping studio.
Last year, the Crockett Cup was produced in partnership with ROH. Brody King and PCO won the relaunch of the tournament in 2019.
The 2019 Cup was held in Concord, NC. It was very fitting that the first two Crockett cups took place in the mid-south. Atlanta and the Charlotte, NC areas were NWA hotbeds in the 80’s when the original Crockett Cup was sponsored by Jim Crockett Promotions.

The event will be held the same night as Impact Wrestling’s Rebellion PPV in NYC. Tickets will officially go on sale 2/28 with an online pre-sale on 2/27.
