Zelina Vega made her return to WWE on last night’s (July 2) episode of SmackDown following her release from the company back in November for breach of contract.
Per PWInsider, after her release from the company, many officials in WWE reached out to her to open conversations between the two sides, as they felt she should have been retained instead of released.
The conversations eventually happened, where there was a long back and forth period where some officials in WWE apologised to Vega for releasing her, as well as making an offer for her to return.
Zelina was announced as the second SmackDown woman to enter Money In The Bank on last night’s show, before losing her return match to Liv Morgan.
