Olympic Gold Medalist Tyra Mae Steele, real name Tamyra Mensah-Stock, has officially made her WWE NXT in-ring debut.
Steele signed with WWE in May 2023 after previously making a cameo appearance at SummerSlam 2021 alongside fellow Olympic gold medalist Gable Steveson.
Having previously wrestled matches at untelevised NXT live events and on NXT Level Up before the show was canceled, Steele was recently crowned the women’s winner of WWE LFG season one.
As such, she and men’s winner Jasper Troy were confirmed to be official members of the NXT roster.
Troy made his debut last week with a win over Dante Chen, and Steele debuted on tonight’s June 3 episode against Arianna Grace.
Steele picked up the win with a German Suplex.
She won gold at the Tokyo Olympics in 2021 for women’s freestyle wrestling.
