
Ring of Honor and New Japan Pro Wrestling recently announced that their G1 Supercard will take place from Madison Square Garden on the night before WrestleMania 35.
In the advertising material for the show, Hiroshi Tanahashi, Tetsuya Naito, and Kazuchika Okada were featured as the top stars of New Japan Pro Wrestling. These wrestlers make up three of New Japan‘s ‘big four’ stars. The fourth, who was notably absent from the advertisement, is current IWGP Heavyweight Champion Kenny Omega.
The ‘Cleaner’s contract with New Japan Pro Wrestling expires in January of 2019 and he has publicly stated that he has not made a decision regarding his future.
In the event that Omega does resign with New Japan Pro Wrestling, he will surely be added to the advertisements for the show.
