An in-ring segment featuring the Usos and the Street Profits culminated in a six-man tag match on tonight’s July 11th edition of WWE Raw.
While the two tag teams set to face off at SummerSlam for the undisputed WWE Tag Team Championships after a controversy during the final moments of their Money in the Bank match, both teams were interrupted by R-Truth.
R-Truth who informed that he was in fact, a certified tag team counselor in addition to revealing a referee shirt. After drawing the ire of the Usos for even involving himself, the five were interrupted by MVP along with Omos with the former offering to loan the Bloodline the Nigerian Giant.
This led to a big six-man match between the immensely talented athletes, giving R-Truth a chance to remind us why he remains on the roster as an entertaining presence both with his athletic abilities and schtick on the mic!
After some big back and forth action by everyone involved (including a failed % knuckle shuffle attempt by R-Truth) Omos got the pinfall victory over Angelo Dawkins.
Elsewhere on the show, the return of Brock Lesnar with a few interruptions and Judgment Day continued to recruit a generational talent before Balor’s match against a WWE legend, Logan Paul appeared (kind of) a women’s tag team match, and a WWE Raw Women’s Championship title defense.
