A video has emerged of WWE star Omos returning to his home country of Nigeria for the first time in 14 years.
It was recently announced that Omos will miss this evening’s (November 7) edition of WWE Raw after flying to his home country to spend time with his family.
TMZ shared a video of the Nigerian Giant surprising his family at their home, and their excited reactions upon his unexpected arrival.
PWInsider has reported that both Omos and Apollo Crews are currently in Nigeria to film content for a talent search series which will air locally.
During the WWE Q3 2022 earnings call, co-CEO Nick Khan confirmed that the company would be doing a ‘localized’ talent search in Africa.
Omos most recently went toe-to-toe with fellow big man Braun Strowman at this Saturday’s (November 5) WWE Crown Jewel event which emanated from Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Omos dominated Strowman for much of the match, before being body slammed and ultimately pinned by the Monster of all Monsters.
