Omos has discussed what he learned from a top WWE star.
Upon Omos’ debut on the WWE main roster, “The Nigerian Giant” started an association with former WWE Champion AJ Styles.
First acting as Styles’ bodyguard and muscle, the duo soon started to team with one another and defeated The New Day to win the Raw Tag Team Championships at WrestleMania 37.
Speaking on Insight with Chris Van Vliet, Omos expanded on what he learned from AJ Styles during their time together. He said:
“Being vicious. That, I think that’s what separates AJ from everybody else. AJ knows when to be vicious.”
“He was mentoring me, which he still does today because he’s one of my closest friends.”
Expanding upon the lesson that Styles taught him, the 28 year old stated:
“Look like you want to kill somebody, that is the art. It’s not about what you do, it’s what’s in here and what you’re conveying in your eyes. That was something I learned from him.”
Omos has been in many high profile matches as of late with Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 39 and Seth Rollins at WWE Backlash. Despite the big time showdowns, he was unable to score a victory either time.
As previously reported, Omos’ manager MVP commented on the success of his client’s match against Seth Rollins at WWE Backlash.
