WWE star Omos has praised a former champion who’s currently signed with AEW, noting that he can’t thank him enough.
With Omos initially established as a tag-team wrestler on the WWE main roster, the former Raw Tag Team Champion made his WrestleMania singles debut at WrestleMania 38.
Omos faced Bobby Lashley at the 2022 event, amid a feud which followed the duo teaming together.
Speaking with NarcolepsyBoy94, Omos noted that he has tremendous respect for Bobby Lashley for helping him out during their time in WWE together.
Omos said:
“I remember doing that WrestleMania (38) because that was the first time it was like ‘Okay, you’re on your own now, you don’t have (AJ) Styles, time to figure it out,’ and it was just me in the ring with Bobby.
“I have a tremendous respect for Bobby Lashley and everything he’s done for me in my career because he really helps me a lot.
“For almost two years Bobby and I were in a feud, even after we were dominating, me and Bobby were just going at each other for like a year and a half, two years. For that time I spent with him, I cannot thank him enough.
“It had a tremendous effect on my career as an in-ring performer. I’m glad I was able to have that feud with him. Hopefully, maybe if he does come back, we can run it back, you never know, but man, I love Bobby, man.”
