Oney Lorcan Now Full-Time NXT Coach WWE

Former NXT star Oney Lorcan has allegedly returned to WWE in a non-wrestling capacity after being released by the company last year.

Lorcan is a former NXT Tag Team Champion with his former partner Danny Burch. The two held the title between October 2020 and March 2021, before being forced to vacate it due to an injury Burch sustained.

Lorcan requested his release from WWE last year, and it was granted to him on November 4 2021.

However, he appears to have made a surprising return to the company. More surprisingly, he seems to have been there for some time.

According to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter:

“There were stories about Oney Lorcan (Chris Girard, 36), working as a guest coach this week at the Performance Center. When asked about it, we were told he’s not a guest coach and has been there for a while as a full-time coach.”

Following his WWE release, Lorcan spent some time wrestling on the independent circuit, competing under the name Biff Busick in promotions such as GCW, PWG, and Beyond Wrestling.
