The opening matches for WWE WrestleMania 41 night one and two on Sunday, April 19 and 20 have now officially been confirmed.
Over the past week, WWE confirmed which WrestleMania matches would be taking place on which night, as well as the main events for both.
The night one main event is CM Punk vs Roman Reigns vs Seth Rollins, while the night two main event is Cody Rhodes vs John Cena for Rhodes’ Undisputed WWE Championship.
Today on the Pat McAfee Show, we also got official confirmation as to which matches will open both nights.
Michael Cole announced that Gunther’s World Heavyweight Championship defense against Jey Uso will be the opener for night one, and therefore the overall event.
Uso had previously said he was hoping to be in the opener since he wasn’t in the main event.
Also, night two will kick off with the three-way for the Women’s World Championship match with IYO SKY defending against Bianca Belair and Rhea Ripley.
