Orange Cassidy Explains Why He Doesn’t Speak Much AEW

AEW star Orange Cassidy may have just lost the AEW International Championship but he had a record setting reign without significant time on the microphone.

After the loss to Jon Moxley at AEW All Out, Orange Cassidy did speak to Sports Illustrated and touched on the topic of not speaking very often.

Orange Cassidy said:

“I don’t like to talk, I let my actions speak for me. That’s not how this works. People are supposed to grab a microphone and tell you how to feel. I see it differently.”

“I think our fans are very smart, and their emotions can speak for themselves. I do it in the ring through actually wrestling. I may not nail it every time, but I’m telling my story through professional wrestling. It’s taken me a long time to figure it out, but I refuse to do it the way it’s been done.”

Orange Cassidy had 31 successful title defenses before his loss to Moxley at All Out, setting an AEW record.

Orange Cassidy is billed for speaking tonight after his historic loss on AEW Dynamite (September 6) so don’t forget to come back to WrestleTalk.com throughout the show for all the updates.
