Orange Cassidy To Team With Popular AEW Stars In Trios Bout On March 22 Dynamite

Orange Cassidy is set to team with a pair of popular AEW stars in a trios bout on the March 22 edition of AEW Dynamite.

At the first AEW House Rules event, AEW International Champion Orange Cassidy teamed with Darby Allin to defeat The Butcher and The Blade in tag team action. Following the match, The Butcher and The Blade attacked the babyface duo backstage to get a measure of revenge.

In a video posted by Tony Khan on Twitter, The Butcher and The Blade issued a challenge for a trios bout with them teaming with Kip Sabian to face Orange Cassidy, Darby Allin and a partner of their choice for this Wednesday’s March 22 episode of AEW Dynamite.

It should be interesting to find out who will be the third man for Cassidy and Allin. Orange is aligned with Best Friends and Danhausen who could fill the spot.

On the March 15 edition of AEW Dynamite, Darby Allin was one of three competitors with “Jungle Boy” Jack Perry and Sammy Guevara, who interrupted AEW World Champion MJF’s Re-Bar Mitzvah to issue a challenge for the gold.

UPDATE – AEW President Tony Khan has announced that Sting will make his in-ring return to team with Darby Allin and Orange Cassidy to face Kip Sabian, The Butcher and The Blade on this Wednesday’s show.
