Original Equally Ridiculous Name For The Viking Experience Revealed

When NXT Tag Team Champions War Raiders made their main roster debut on Raw as part of the Superstar Shake-Up, fans were extremely excited that the talented duo would be able to showcase their abilities each and every Monday night.

However, the excitement soon turned to horror, as Hanson and Rowe were revealed to have undergone a name change and would now go by the names of Ivar and Erik respectively. As if that wasn’t bad enough, their team name of War Raiders was replaced by the ridiculous “The Viking Experience”…

However, PWInsider is reporting that this was not always the plan and at one point, Vince McMahon and WWE management had the name “The Bezerkers” in mind… Whilst WWE legends of the past tried to defend “The Viking Experience”, it will be hard to defend this latest revelation.

Take from this what you will, but at this stage, it is clear that WWE management has gone berserk, which is a tad ironic…
