This week on Raw, The Viking Raiders took part in the eight-team tag team turmoil match on WWE Raw. The bout was won by Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode.
During the match, the former NXT Tag Team Champions seemingly started a feud with Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson of The O.C.
However, Erik and Ivar were reportedly not even supposed to be in the match.
According to PWInsider, WWE had planned on having the Viking Raiders compete in yet another squash match this week. However, plans changed.
This comes after it was reported that former Raw Tag Team Champions The Authors of Pain were actually slated to be part of the match.
Perhaps the team formerly known as the War Raiders took the place of Akam and Rezar when WWE higher-ups decided to change their previous planned.
