Original Plans For Roman Reigns Tag Partner On WWE Raw

On this past Monday’s WWE Raw, Cedric Alexander played the role of Roman Reigns’ tag team partner taking on Shane McMahon and Roman Reigns.

The story was that Shane had found a cleaner called Gary ‘The GOAT’ Garbutt, and told him to wear a mask to make him look like a wrestler, but it turned out when Reigns unmasked him after the match, it was Alexander.

PWInsider is reporting that an extra was initially supposed to play the role, but there were pitches for the former Cruiserweight Champion so plans were changed.

The report also added that there will be a follow-up to Cedric’s involvement on Raw next week.

Reigns will team with Undertaker at Extreme Rules to face McMahon and McIntyre in a No Holds Barred match this Sunday.
