Other matches set to take place at John Cena’s Final Match WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event on December 13 have been revealed.
John Cena is set to compete in his final match on the December 13 edition of WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event in Washington DC, with Cena set to retire against the winner of the Last Time Is Now Tournament, which begins tonight.
Prior to tonight, no additional information on if any other matches would be taking place on the show had been revealed, but Cena himself has now provided an update.
Opening tonight’s WWE Raw show in Boston, Cena announced that, alongside his final match, the December 13 edition of Saturday Night’s Main Event will also feature ‘exhibition matches’, which will pit main roster WWE stars against ‘some of the best’ from WWE NXT.
Cena was interrupted by Dominik Mysterio, with an Intercontinental Championship match between the two taking place to kick off tonight’s episode of Raw.
The Last Time Is Now Tournament matches set for tonight will pit Sheamus against Shinsuke Nakamura and Damian Priest against Rusev.
