Overnight Viewership Falls Below 2 Million For February 12 WWE SmackDown

The overnight viewership for last night’s (February 12) episode of Friday Night SmackDown on FOX has been revealed, and it’s not great news for WWE.

ShowBuzz Daily is reporting that last night’s FOX show, which featured a big Elimination Chamber announcement from Roman Reigns and the SmackDown return of Seth Rollins, brought in an average of 1.884 million, with a 0.5 rating.

For context, last week’s show on February 5 brought in an average of 2.126 million viewers, scoring a 0.6 rating in the all-important 18-49 demographic. This pretty big dropoff will not be a welcomed sight to anyone in WWE right now.

Below is the hour-by-hour breakdown for last night’s show:

Hour One: 1.905 million viewers, 0.5 rating

Hour Two: 1.862 million viewers, 0.5 rating

It’s important to note that this is just the overnight viewership figure for SmackDown. The final figure will be revealed early next week, so check back on WrestleTalk.com for that.
