Overnight Viewership For January 1 SmackDown Revealed

The overnight viewership numbers for last night’s January 1 episode of WWE Friday Night SmackDown on FOX have been revealed.

As per Showbuzz Daily, the show drew an average of 1.915 million viewers overnight. In the important 18-49 demographic, it got a rating of 0.50.

The hourly breakdown was as follows:

  • Hour 1 – 1.996 million
  • Hour 2 – 1.834 million

WWE had promoted Big E vs Sami Zayn, Sasha Banks & Bianca Belair vs Bayley & Carmella, and Roman Reigns to address Kevin Owens prior to the show. At one point Seth Rollins returning was also advertised but that ended up being pulled.
