The overnight viewership for last night’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown on FOX has been revealed, and things are looking up.
According to overnight stats from Showbuzz Daily, the latest episode of SmackDown averaged 2.03 million viewers. This is up from the 1.946 million average figure that last week’s show (March 19) brought in.
In the 18-49 demographic, the show received a 0.5 rating. WWE SmackDown was second-highest in this demographic, behind Shark Tank.

Hour 1: 2.020 million viewers, 0.5 rating in the 18-49 demographic

In the show’s main event segment, it was announced that Daniel Bryan had been added to the WrestleMania 37 Universal Championship match. Edge took out his frustrations on Roman Reigns and Bryan, laying both competitors out with a chair.
