Overnight Viewership For March 5 SmackDown Revealed

The interesting overnight viewership figures for the first episode of SmackDown of March 2021 have been revealed.

Last night’s episode of SmackDown saw Daniel Bryan defeat Jey Uso in a Steel Cage match. It has been revealed that more people tuned in to SmackDown this week compared to last Friday.

According to Showbuzz Daily, The latest episode of SmackDown drew an average of 2.166 viewers in the overnight ratings. The viewership peaked in hour 2 at 2.179 million viewers, compared to the 2.153 million viewers for hour 1.

This would be an increase of 1% on last Friday’s viewership, with the February 26 show drawing an average of 2.145 million viewers.

In the 18-49 demographic, this week’s episode had an average 0.6 rating, compared to last week’s 0.54. Last night’s SmackDown was #2 for the night in this demographic, behind Shark Tank’s 0.7 rating.

Daniel Bryan’s win last night made him the No.1 Contender for Roman Reign’s Universal Championship at Fastlane 2021. One person who was noticeably absent from the show was the Intercontinental Champion Big E.
