Overnight Viewership For SmackDown Featuring Hell In A Cell Match

The overnight viewership for the June 18 SmackDown, featuring the Roman Reigns vs Rey Mysterio Hell in a Cell match, has been revealed.

On last night’s show, Roman Reigns defeated Rey Mysterio inside Hell in a Cell to retain his Universal Championship. It has now been reported that viewership was up compared to last week’s episode.

As per Spoiler TV, the June 18 episode of SmackDown drew an average of 1.928 million overnight viewers. This is up from the 1.853 million viewers who tuned in on June 11.

In hour 1, 1.926 million viewers were watching, and in hour 2, 1.930 million fans tuned in.

This week’s show scored a 0.5 rating in the all important 18 to 49 demographic. This was an improvement on last week’s episode, which scored a  0.4 rating.

Also on last night’s show, it was announced that Bayley will challenge Bianca Belair on Sunday inside Hell in a Cell. While this will be Belair’s first visit to The Devil’s Playground, Bayley notably battled Sasha Banks in the structure last year.

It was also announced that Seth Rollins and Cesaro will once again go head-to-head at the pay-per-view.

WWE Hell In A Cell streams live on June 20, 2021 on the WWE Network or Peacock in the United States.
