Pac became the inaugural AEW All-Atlantic Champion back at the Forbidden Door pay-per-view, when he defeated Clark Connors, Miro and Malakai Black in a four-way match for the title.
Whilst Pac has not appeared on AEW television since winning the title, he is set to defend the title around the world as a travelling champion.
Pac’s first defence took place today at the RevPro event in Sheffield, England, where he faced off against rising NJPW star Shota Umino.
Pac retained his title in the main event of the show to make the first defence of the title. His next defence is set for the upcoming OTT show against LJ Cleary.
The match between Pac and Umino is set to air on next week’s episode of AEW Dark.
