Earlier today Jon Moxley revealed that an elbow injury he suffered requires surgery. Moxley then pulled himself out of his match at AEW All Out against Kenny Omega.
When AEW’s Executive Vice President Cody took to Twitter to wish Moxley well, he also confirmed that a replacement opponent for Kenny Omega would be found, and revealed.
Very heartbreaking news. Jon’s health and safety is paramount to all of us. We will actively try and reschedule this match down the road. A replacement match for All Out will be announced soon. Our thoughts are with Jon. https://t.co/EHoNpNrHwP

Since then, AEW have confirmed that instead of Jon Moxley, Kenny Omega will go one-on-one with PAC at the big show next weekend.

This comes after PAC seemingly quit AEW at a WrestleGate Pro show in Nottingham, England before Double or Nothing in May.
This will be PAC’s official AEW debut, with the former WWE Cruiserweight Champion not wrestling at any of AEW’s previous events.
Although it is a real shame that Jon Moxley will be unable to perform at All Out, Kenny Omega vs. PAC would legitimate steal the show and go down as one of the best wrestling matches of the year.
