Last weekend at AEW Revolution, the company announced that they will be holding a WarGames-style match on a special ‘Blood & Guts’ episode of Dynamite on March, 25.
The participants and rules for the match were not confirmed at the time, but many people expected the match to be between The Elite and The Inner Circle.
Now AEW has confirmed that the two big factions will go head-to-head in the main event of the 03/25 show. The rules for the match will be revealed on next week’s Dynamite.

The match will feature ten of AEW’s biggest and best wrestlers, so it is sure to be a very exciting clash. However, I’m not sure announcing the participants for the Black & Guts match ahead of time was a good idea.
The moment of announcing who the participants will be could have been saved for a big moment, but it just feels slightly rushed. However, I understand why AEW has done it this way.
I feel people criticize WWE for posting massive match announcements on social media, and I feel that it’s only fair that we hold AEW to the same degree of scrutiny in this regard.
Regardless, I am very excited for what promises to be a huge match packed with awesome in-ring work and stellar storytelling.
