On today’s episode of the Pat McAfee Show, Pat revealed what he was told to look out for right before making his entrance.
According to Pat, he got a heads up to watch his head, saying:
“I was walking to Gorilla which is obviously the last stop before you go out. Four different Producers were like, ‘when you go out there, the bottom of the entrance is like a star, make sure you get to the middle. AJ literally just ran his face into the side and he’s bleeding right now.’”
Pat McAfee’s match against Austin Theory and subsequent angle that saw McAfee then take on Vince McMahon himself in a match has been widely discussed online as being many fans’ match of the night.
As it led to the return of Stone Cold Steve Austin who broke up a celebration between McMahon and Theory after they had laid waste to Pat in the ring; Austin would go on to deliver a stunner to both Theory and McMahon but of course in true Austin fashion, McAfee would end up being on the receiving end of one himself.
Elsewhere on his show, Pat showed off an enormous bruise on his bicep and shared which WWE stars gave him advice before the big match, including Triple H.
