In a health update, WWE commentator Pat McAfee has revealed that he has tested positive for COVID-19 and is currently quarantining.
On today’s (August 25) edition of the Pat McAfee Show, McAfee noted that he had a 104.5 fever. He stated that he’s quarantining at home, and at the time of recording, was preparing to take a COVID-19 test.
McAfee has since taken to Twitter to reveal that he has tested positive for COVID-19. Sharing photos of his tests and thermometer, McAfee tweeted:
“Fully Vax’d. Very Positive. Aht Indefinitely. It’s miserable but thankful that my wife and the boys at the office all took tests and they are all negative.. This is obviously a sign from the universe, probably telling me that I stink & to stay home for a while. I’ll see yinz.”
McAfee commentated during Saturday’s SummerSlam event, which had over 51,000 fans in attendance, according to WWE. On the Pat McAfee Show, McAfee noted that he wasn’t experiencing headaches, and hadn’t lost his sense of taste.
We here at WrestleTalk wish McAfee a safe and healthy recovery.
