Pat McAfee Reacts To Vince McMahon WrestleMania 38 Match Rumors

Pat McAfee appears to have reacted to speculation that he’s set to return to the ring at WrestleMania 38.

Ahead of Vince McMahon’s appearance on Thursday’s episode of the Pat McAfee show, several sources report that McAfee vs McMahon is internally listed for the April 2-3 event.

McAfee has now taken to Twitter with a video featuring highlights from his two NXT matches.

Fuelling speculation, McAfee captioned the post:

“You all seem to know A LOT more abaht what I’m up to than me.. I’m excited to see what happens at this point as well.. WrestleMania chatter is WILD right now. Just a reminder.. If you think imma be a part of something that isn’t a BANGER… you’re AHT of your damn mind”

The Wrestling Observer is reporting that McAfee’s match with the 76-year old WWE Chairman will be a ‘complete smoke and mirrors event’. McAfee last wrestled in December 2020, teaming with Pete Dunne, Danny Burch and Oney Lorcan to do battle with the Undisputed Era in WarGames.
