Pat McAfee WWE Return Plans Confirmed

Pat McAfee WWE Return Plans Confirmed WWE

An update has emerged on WWE’s plans for Pat McAfee, following the commentator recently being attacked by GUNTHER.

On the April 21 Raw episode, now-former World Heavyweight Champion GUNTHER got into an onscreen altercation with the WWE commentary team.

Pat McAfee intervened when GUNTHER attempted to put Michael Cole in a sleeper hold, leading to the Ring General ultimately choking McAfee out.

With McAfee not returning to commentary that night and GUNTHER “suspended indefinitely” later that week, there has been some uncertainty about when we’ll next see either star on WWE TV.

WWE has now confirmed that McAfee will be on Monday’s (April 28) Raw episode, one week after being attacked.

As confirmed by Raw General Manager Adam Pearce, McAfee will be given some time to address GUNTHER’s attack on Raw, at McAfee’s request.

Pearce announced this during a round of WWE announcements, which you can hear about in the video below.

Other announcements included:

– Rhea Ripley vs Roxanne Perez

– Pat McAfee to address GUNTHER’s attack,

– Paul Heyman, Seth Rollins and Bron Breakker to appear,

– Becky Lynch to explain why she attacked Lyra Valkyria,

– Nick Aldis to fill in as Raw GM for one night only.
