The Stages of Grief
The next week on Raw Heyman delivered the performance of the year. Appearing unshaven and Red-eyed declaring that he had not spoken to Lesanar and that Roman Reigns couldn’t beat Lesanr at SummerSlam.
The Reconciliation
Like any good love story though, it appears true love has prevailed. This week on Raw Heyman floated the idea of being the advocate for Reigns after SummerSlam, Going as far as to give Reigns an agreement in principle to become the newest ‘Paul Heyman guy’. This turned out to be a ruse, as Heyman then pepper sprayed Reigns allowing for Lesnar to ambush the blinded Big Dog. Lesnar and Heyman then left together with the Universal Championship, and all appears to be right in the world. It could be a double cross though, just look back to 2002.
