Paul Heyman Namedrops CM Punk While Listing WWE Accomplishments

Paul Heyman recently mentioned CM Punk, among other names, while listing off his managerial accomplishments.

Many consider Paul Heyman to be one of the greatest WWE managers/advocates/special counsels of all time. Following his official reunion with WWE Champion Brock Lesnar, WWE on Fox took to Twitter to point out that The Beast has had separate WWE Title reigns in three different decades.

Replying to the post, Heyman asked WWE to acknowledge that he’s managed the top WWE champion in those three decades. Heyman listed Brock Lesnar, Big Show (AEW’s Paul Wight), Kurt Angle, Rob Van Dam, Roman Reigns and CM Punk as the stars he has managed while they held a World Title.

Heyman tweeted:

“Thank you, @WWEonFOX, for ACKNOWLEDGING @BrockLesnar‘s dominance over the course of 3 different decades. AHEM … how about ACKNOWLEDING I’ve advocated / special counseled / “managed” the top @WWE champion in those same 3 decades (Brock, Big Show, Angle, RVD, Punk, Roman)”

Heyman notably managed Punk through his historic 434 day title reign that started at Survivor Series 2011, and ended at Royal Rumble 2013. The advocate previously noted that he had the time of his life working with Punk during this period.

WWE and Punk are reportedly not currently on good terms, with Brian Mazique of Forbes recently describint the relationship between WWE and the AEW star as ‘extremely broken’.
