The latest twist in the Bloodline saga took place at SummerSlam, when Jimmy Uso betrayed his twin brother Jey in the Tribal Combat main event.

The twist was met with a mixed reception online, with some fans believing it was the next logical step, while others believed that it was one twist too many for the story.

Following the show, a quote from Paul Heyman in the post-show press conference went around, where he said that the story was ‘in the bottom of the third’ inning.

Speaking on the Kurt Angle Show, WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle discussed the story, where he said that, while he still loves the story, they are ‘making s**t up’, and that Heyman was ‘full of s**t’ for his comments.

He said (quote via Wrestle Ops):

“The storyline is great, I love it, but I think Heyman was full of shit, I think they’re in the eighth inning, and they’re stressed. They’re making shit up now. That’s what I believe. Paul Heyman, I know him, and I know that he’s probably going crazy right now, ‘What do we do next?'”

Responding to the quote from Angle, Heyman fired back at Angle’s response, saying:

No matter what inning we’re in, at least we’re not looking for exposure thru the next Old Timer’s Day.
