There was a shocking display of emotion by Paul Heyman ahead of tonight’s WWE Money in the Bank, shedding tears in a backstage interview.
Ahead of tonight’s WWE Money in the Bank premium live event from London, Paul Heyman gave a magical acting performance as the epic storyline of the Bloodline seems to be potentially reaching a climactic ending.
Heyman recently delved into his acting style in an appearance on Rick Rubin’s podcast, explaining that during a previous emotional appearance on TV, he wore the suit he last wore at his Father’s funeral for another WWE scene, and it seems his method acting may have struck again.
When Heyman entered from behind the locker room door of Roman Reigns to address his longtime foil, WWE backstage interview Kayla Braxton, it was clear this wasn’t going to be a normal exchange.
With Roman Reigns having mocked Kayla in the past, telling Heyman “your girlfriend is waiting” as she tried to get comments, it is a known character detail that Heyman is minimally unpleasant but often downright rude to Braxton.
However tonight, that was not the case as Heyman was immediately presented as tearful as Braxton gave her own stunning performance, genuinely reacting to Heyman’s intense countenance.
The message from Heyman was clear: not only is Roman Reigns planning on beating the Usos tonight at Money in the Bank, he seems poised to complete destroy them.
The Money in the Bank premium live event has already kicked off live from London’s O2 arena with the Men’s Money in the Bank ladder match featuring Logan Paul, Damian Priest, LA Knight, Santos Escobar, Shinsuke Nakamura, Butch and Ricochet.
