Following the 2021 WWE Hall of Fame ceremonies, Paul Heyman has made an interesting nomination for the Hall of Fame next year.
This year, both the 2020 and 2021 Hall of Fame ceremonies aired. The likes of JBL, The Bella Twins and Kane were inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame during WrestleMania 37 week.
Paul Heyman is already thinking about the 2022 ceremony. He took to Twitter to nominate the entire ECW audience for the award. Highlighting the iconic crowd for WWE’s consideration, Heyman shared a GIF of John Cena at ECW One Night Stand 2006.
Here is the tweet:

The ECW crowd were notoriously high-spirited throughout the promotion’s life. The One Night Stand 2006 crowd made Rob Van Dam’s victory over John Cena unforgettable.
Rob Van Dam was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame during the 2021 ceremony this year. The One of a Kind star noted that he felt pride when Vince McMahon told him that he changed the wrestling business during his career.
Cena has recently fuelled rumors that he’s planning his WWE return. A top NXT star has stated that he wants to face Cena as soon as possible.
