Paul Heyman Named ‘Unsung Hero’ Of WWE WWE

A WWE star has named Paul Heyman the “unsung hero” of the company in regards to helping talent develop to the next level.

WWE Global Ambassador Titus O’Neil has named three prospects he believes are future world champions, crediting the work of Paul Heyman with one of them in particular.

Speaking with TMZ, O’Neil was asked who he sees as future top stars in WWE. He replied:

“Bron Breakker, for sure. The big Nigerian out of NXT, Oba. He is phenomenal. He, I think, is world champion material now.

“Trick Williams I think is another one that has shown and proven that people will get behind him. He’s got tremendous upside, he’s got great character, both in and out of the ring. One of those guys you can tell a million different backstories about him.

“Bron Breakker’s definitely gonna be the world champion in the very near future. He’s special and I think being paired up with Paul Heyman is obviously gonna accelarate when that trigger is pulled, because you can’t be around Paul Heyman for five minutes without being better in this business.

“Paul Heyman is, in my opinion, the unsung hero of that company when it comes to helping develop talent, characters, teaching them the art of communication, the art of storytelling. I don’t think that there’s many people in the business, if any, that are bigger than Paul Heyman, and that’s just my personal opinion, but I don’t think that people would dispute it.

“If you look at Roman Reigns prior to getting with Paul Heyman, and look at the historic run that Roman Reigns went on and the character development throughout the entire process, and how Roman no longer needs Paul Heyman, Roman Reigns is an attraction on his own, he is a bonafide superstar, he is a bonafide movie star in the making, and a lot of that – nobody can question, I don’t think anybody should question whether or not Paul Heyman had a huge input on how that has developed and come out.”
