Paul Heyman Names Most Improved WWE Star Since WrestleMania 40 WWE

Paul Heyman has named the WWE star he considers to be most improved despite not having a presence at WrestleMania 41.

During a recent interview, Heyman noted that The Bloodline’s Solo Sikoa was the “most improved” in a time period from 2024’s WrestleMania 40 to more recently.

Speaking on SHAK Wrestling, Paul Heyman reflected on Sikoa’s journey from WrestleMania 40 to recent times, saying:

“I think Solo Sikoa was the single most improved performer in WWE from WrestleMania 40 through this week right now, and I am so proud of what he accomplished in that time.

“I would dare say that if you look back a few years from now at the year that he had and carrying that side of ‘SmackDown,’ that it wasn’t only the most improved performer of the past year, that he is perhaps, in a one-year span, the most improved performer over a one-year span ever.”

Sikoa rose from The Bloodline enforcer after his WWE Clash at the Castle main roster debut in September 2022 to its leader in the absence of Roman Reigns in April 2024.

Rejuvenating The Bloodline with Tonga Loa and then Jacob Fatu, he would take possession of Reign’s Ula Fala, ejecting Heyman from the group.

While Reigns would return, Sikoa’s rise continued, with Paul Heyman going on to discuss the work the WWE star put in, stating:

“He went from being a stoic mute to being someone who can carry his end of the microphone against anybody that he wanted to, including me, including Roman Reigns, including anybody that stepped up against him on the microphone. Solo Sikoa held his own.

“I did not hear of, witness, nor read about — even on the cynical internet — of a bad match that he had over the course of the past year.

“He delivered in the ring. He delivered on the mic. He carried ‘SmackDown’ from an antagonist position on the mic.

“Even after I was gone, still carried his end of it, and then held his own against Roman on the mic as well.”

Sikoa lost the Ula Fala and Tribal Chief moniker to Roman Reigns in a Tribal Combat match on the WWE Raw on Netflix premiere in January.

Recently, Sikoa has accompanied Jacob Fatu to the ring, although he was absent for the Samoan Werewolf’s WWE United States Championship win over LA Knight at WrestleMania 41.
